By coming to this website you are one step closer to seeking justice on behalf of the thousands of human trafficking victims located in Malaysia!First off, we want to start by saying how absolutely excited we are to even be here! As the name implies, Project Exodus: Malaysia (or PXM for short) is the Malaysian branch of the United States abolitionist organization Project Exodus.
Project Exodus was founded in July of 2009 in Los Angeles, California and has been working to eradicate slavery in the United States through undercover investigations. Recently, God opened the door to expand the organization to Malaysia and thus PXM came into being!
Every year, thousands of people are trafficked into Malaysia either to be used as sex slaves, labor slaves, or to be transported to their next international destination. While there is much trafficking in Malaysia, little is being done to fight it. Thus comes in Project Exodus: Malaysia.
PXM's goal is spearhead the abolitionist movement in Malaysia and to create the infrastructure necessary to begin freeing victims of human trafficking in the country. We hope that through our efforts not only will countless people learn about the crime of human trafficking but they will also learn how to stop it.
We are very excited for the road ahead and we ask for your prayers as we begin to get our feet and see where God takes us. We have a difficult journey but alas we have hope for in Christ we have victory!
